![]() ![]() The flavours that were my least favourite were Red Bean, as I could not taste the adzuki as much, and the Black Sesame as it was on the icy side. And for the ice cream that was fruit-based, Lychee stood out the most for me. Out of all the flavours they included in the box, my absolute favourites were the Matcha, Ube, Vanilla Chip, and Salted Caramel because out of all the ice creams they were the creamiest. Quality control for each disc of ice cream was impeccable. ![]() The mochi layer did not overpower the ice cream flavour. On their website, they stated they wanted to deliver a balanced dessert and I absolutely guarantee this was achieved. They were able to encase a fair amount of ice cream in a thin layer of mochi rice dough. What truly impressed me with their ice cream was the perfect ratio of mochi to ice cream. As someone who avidly consumes ice cream all year round, I must say, I think I have found the best mochi ice cream in the market. Mochidoki is a term the creators have coined, which loosely translates to Mochi-time! I believe if you love ice cream as much as I do, mochi ice creams should be part of your ice cream rotation, whatever season we are in. Packaging was on the simple side but the ice creams truly made up for the simplicity of the box. ![]() I was very much impressed with the packaging there was dry ice on top and a lot of insulators to ensure that the products inside the box would maintain their integrity. This includes 12 of their best-selling flavours-Matcha, Red Bean, Vanilla Chip, Chocolate, Passion Fruit, Lychee, Black Sesame, Ube, Salted Caramel, Strawberry, Espresso, and Coconut. What I got delivered to my house was their Signature Collection Box, which contains 24 beautifully made mochi ice creams. I was super excited to find out they were already shipping nationally.Īs someone who lives in a rural area in Nebraska, I was stoked to know Mochidoki’s products could reach me.
